Polymer Services and Innovations evolved out of the extensive vinyl industry experiences of Principals Doug Caster, Mark Durana, Mike Maly,  and John Phillips, and their desire to share the practical aspects of plastisol and organosol formulating and compounding. PS&I brings a broad background of experience to assist clients in all phases of their vinyl compounding, processing and product development objectives.

PS&I’s combined 150 years of experience in vinyl compound development, processing and manufacturing creates unique and valuable consulting and technical services for vinyl plastisol and organosol formulation, production and processing. Industry-leading companies in the manufacture of vinyl resins, vinyl plastisols and vinyl molding powders have employed the four Principals of Polymer Services and Innovations to aid in development of product lines such as vinyl plastisols, vinyl coating powders, vinyl molding powders, screen printing inks and urethane systems.

Polymer Services and Innovations emphasize a business style that develops confidential relationships, which allows the development of partnerships with competing customers and suppliers. PS&I has office and lab locations in Waukesha, Wisconsin and in Findlay and Cleveland, Ohio.

The Principals of PS&I each hold memberships in the Society of Plastics Engineers. Professional affiliations also include the Association of Rotational Molders and the Society of Plastics Industry. PS&I principals have chaired the Vinyl Formulators division of SPI, and are active on its Technical Committee. Additionally, they have authored chapters in SPI’s PVC Plastisol 101 seminar as well as The Handbook of PVC Formulating. They have also presented papers at SPE Vinyl Retecs as well as serving as lecturers in the SPI Plastisol 101 Training Seminars.
